Going to Hokkaido

After an amazing week together with Takumi Nagai we unfortunally had to leave. We had allready booked flight tickets to go to the northern japanese island Hokkaido. If we wouldnt have had the flight tickets we would have for sure stayed for another week. We have gotten everything we ever could have asked for. Epic deep powder, nice splitbpoarding days, excellent japanese company and guiding, great food and lots of cultural experince.

We were really emotional when Taku dropped us of at the trainstation. The trip to our next destination Tokashidake took us about 15 hours by car, train, plane and car again.

Now we are at one of the most amazing hotels I have ever been to. Staying in a japanese style room with madrasses on the floor and we just finished a 8 course japanese dinner. To finish it off we will go to the classical japanese spa called onsen. Onsen are hot pools with extremly hot water straight from the earth. The water is muddy and it smells like rotten eggs, but it feels great!

We cant wait to wake up tomorrow and see what the terrain is like here!
