OUR STORY
It all started back in '93 during the early days of snowboarding when we created Europe's first snowboard clothing brand.
Yes, we are Dutch. Our country is small. Our country is flat. No snow- capped mountains to be seen for the next 600 miles. But we've never left this fact hold us back. Back in '93, during the early days of snowboarding, it was even the thing that inspired us. To dream bigger and better. To make it happen. To get there. To the mountains. Against all odds.
A spark of excitement among friends and a love for the ups and downs, the twists and turns, that's how Protest was born. Since then, we've evolved from snow to water, from the streets to sportswear, but our adventurous nature has always and will always remain.
Protest is for everyone looking to go that extra mile, on the slopes, on the water, off the beaten path. Driven by a desire to achieve more in the outdoors, Protest connects likeminded spirits who share a love for this active lifestyle.

Fun is in our DNA it's what we live for. It's why we're here. Because if you ask us? The world is one big playground. One that always trying to open up to people, to the young ones, the activists, the rebels at heart. Our way of doing it is through our price tag. By staying affordable for everyone, we can encourage more people to do what they love, enabling them to "ride more" in order "to get there"
Ignited thirty years ago and we've stoked ever since. We're still dreaming big. No matter what life throws at us. Nothing can hold us back. We'd love for you to join us on the ride.

It's been over three decades since we started thinking of creative ways to get there, to get inspired, to design awesome styles, and to do what we love. It's true what they say: time really does fly when you're having fun.
As Europe's first snowboard clothing brand, we've grown up and transitioned into an energetic, fun-loving, year-round sportswear brand, firmly rooted in board sports. We've built a rock-solid base, we're socially engaged, and we stay true our core values and our people.
