Colourful vibes

Some decades just knew how to express the summer in colour. Here we’re talking about the techniques used in the groovy seventies to express those happy summer vibes. Ideas were more craft based and less technical. By referencing tie die and various colour wash methods, we’ve created some awesome prints, like the colour gradient on the Erwin, the Orion and the short Quintin swim shorts. Botanicals

A trend that is taking root in men’s swimwear is the botanical print. Detailed and dramatic plant studies create prints that emanate the time of the great discoveries in botany. These leafy drawings are worked into all over designs for our swim shorts. You’ll find these botanical prints on the Marcel and the Salvador swim shorts. Match these two up with our short sleeve shirts in the same print for a co-ordinated look.

Illustrated

The illustrated print is a hot theme this summer. Sometimes an illustration captures the mood better than a photo. Lines are used to simplify a visual and to separate colours. Stripes

A trend you can’t miss this summer – the colourful stripe. Our designers are taking colour and form to a whole new level. Visuals are bold, bright and experimental. The perfect complement to your swim shorts; a rash guard protects your skin while you’re out there chasing barrels. The fabric used to make our rash guards has SPF50, which means that the protection that you get is equivalent to that of a sun block. Remember that this protection only counts for the parts of the body that are covered by the rash guard, so always remember to use sun cream on uncovered skin to avoid the burn!
