EVERYONE ON BOARDS
Bringing the excitement of snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding to disadvantaged youth
Everyone on Boards is a UK-based, award-winning non-profit organization that provides young people aged 10-18, particularly those from ethnic minorities and low-income families, with access to board sports. Their programs are designed to inspire and build skills through regular surfing and snowboarding sessions, fostering a strong and supportive community.
Expanding horizons with the Protest FUN(D) donation
With the support from the Protest FUN(D), Everyone on Boards will:
- Expand their reach: More young people will gain access to their programs.
- Provide necessary resources: Funding will cover equipment, lessons, and accommodation for events.
- Offer mentoring and workshops: Ongoing support to teach important life skills.
This summer, thanks to the donation, Everyone on Boards will host a 3-day Skate & Surf Camp at Camp Hillcrest and The Wave in Bristol. Ten young people will have the chance to improve their skateboarding skills at Camp Hillcrest's indoor park and take surfing lessons at The Wave, promising an unforgettable summer adventure.
Following the camp, three monthly snowboard sessions will be held at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Here, ten young people will receive professional instruction to build their confidence and skills. The foundation also provides wellbeing mentoring and workshops focusing on personal growth, stress management, and goal setting.
"We are deeply honored to receive this donation. It will empower us to further our mission of making board sports accessible to a wider range of participants, particularly young people. This support is crucial and demonstrates a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in young people's lives," says Agnieszka Aga Wood, founder of Everyone on Boards.
