Introducing the colour-blocked Ann by Protest. This fabulous piece of outerwear is inspired by the anorak, which is a shape that originally came from the polar regions. Staying warm and dry is essential to having fun on the slopes. This fantastic anorak has 10K water resistance and 10g breathability. This means that while the outer fabric is waterproof, moisture is still allowed to escape through the fabric from the inside, keeping you dry. It’s a bit of magic really. This ski and snowboard jacket is PFC-free in an effort to reduce the detrimental effect that this chemical has on our health and the environment. We use an environmentally friendly waterproofing method. The seams are also critically taped, another way of helping to keep you dry. The fabric of this jacket is not just functional, but also good looking having a suede-like sheen. There is a zipper at the neck and long zipper at the side of the anorak to make it easy to get in and out of the Ann. The side zipper can also be used as a ventilation zipper so that you can regulate your own body temperature. The fit of this jacket is regular and the length is long. The side pockets are zippered. A fabulous jacket for both on and off the slopes, the Ann by Protest. This model is 1.75m and wears size M / UK 10.Article number: 6611802_770

Regular FitThis garment has a regular fit.
High (10K)This number tells you how waterproof your garment is. If the fabric is 10k or 10 000 mm, this means you can place a square tube with inner dimensions of 30mm x 30mm over the garment's outer fabric and you could fill it with water to a height of 10 000 mm before water would begin to seep through. The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
Chin protectorA piece of fabric that guards the chin from possible chafing from the zipper.
Critically taped seamsThis means that the most important seams have been taped. Taped seams guarantee waterproof seams.
Easy headphone accessThis jacket has a special tunnel for the headphonewire.
Fixed hoodThis hood is attached to the garment with stitching and cannot be removed.
Liftpass holderThis garment has a specially designed pocket for the lift pass.
Lycra cuffsThere is an extra cuff on the inside of the sleeve. This helps to keep snow and wind out.
Regular waistgaiterThis is a non-elastic waist gaiter which helps to keep the snow and other elements out of your garment.
Velcro cuffsOn the outside of the sleeves at the cuffs, the sleeve width can be adjusted with the use of velcro.
Vent zipsThese are zippers places under the arms or at the legs. They allow hot air to escape from the jacket and cool air to get in. A bit like your own personal air-conditoning.
