Prepare to get there

Prepare to get there

Protest has just launched their second ‘Prepare to get there’ campaign to inspire boarders and skiers everywhere. The message: no matter where you are and what the conditions are, you can prepare yourself for your ride. To visualize this idea, Protest has made a series of videos that follow skiers as they prepare for their winter season. They’re working on their skills, pushing themselves to take their performance to the next level. “Even without the right conditions, you can get out there. All you need is your board or your skis, a whole bunch of creativity, some guts, and voilà, new conditions are born”.

Andri Ragettli: Chalet parkour

It’s launch time: here comes the second new ‘Prepare to get there’ video, in which Protest shows how to take preparation a step further. In this video you’ll see Andri Ragettli, Swiss freestyle ski champion and Protest team rider, preparing for his next ski competition. Not seeing any limitations in his surroundings, he creates his own indoor parkour in his chalet. Let your obstacles be your possibilities! The world is your playground, so get creative. Watch just how Andri prepares to get there.

Preparing to get there doesn’t mean getting it right the first time. Andri shows us how determination gets the job done. Here’s the crazy behind-the-scenes footage of Andri trying to get there.

Have you seen the first video ‘Extreme rail slide’ yet?

In Protest’s first ‘Prepare to get there’ video of 2019, our rider shows you that you can prepare for the winter season, wherever you are, even in an environment completely without snow. In this first video, a skier uses his skill set to do what seems impossible – to ski across an 855m toboggan run. Check it out!

Who are we?

We’re a group of Dutch snowboarders who started our own sportswear brand in a land with no mountains and not many waves to speak of! That means sometimes we need to use our imagination to prepare for the ride. Check this video out for inspiration.
