A mountain mindset with street credibility, meet the Longan by Protest. This ski and snowboard jacket is made from recycled polyester and combines some serious attitude with technical know-how. This jacket is part of our PVRE Green series, functional clothing made sustainably. We use an environmentally friendly waterproofing process in the creation of this jacket, instead of using harmful PFC’s. Staying warm and dry is essential to having fun on the slopes. This fantastic jacket has 10K water resistance and 10g breathability. This means that while the outer fabric is waterproof, moisture is still allowed to escape through the fabric from the inside, keeping you dry. It’s a bit of magic. The critical seams are taped, which are the hood, neck and shoulder seams. The hood is lined with soft teddy fur. The sleeves are ergonomically shaped for ease of movement, which is helped by the mechanical stretch property of the fabric. This jacket has a regular fit and is long in length. High (10K)This number tells you how waterproof your garment is. If the fabric is 10k or 10 000 mm, this means you can place a square tube with inner dimensions of 30mm x 30mm over the garment's outer fabric and you could fill it with water to a height of 10 000 mm before water would begin to seep through. The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
