Guidelines and Terms for Protest FUN(D) Applications

These guidelines and terms apply to the process of requesting financial assistance through Protest FUN(D). For detailed information on how Protest FUN(D) operates, please refer to the website.

About Protest FUN(D)

The Protest Protest FUN(D), a part of Dekker Olifanta B.V. Protest Sportswear, has a mission to 'help everyone ride more.' Protest FUN(D) provides financial donations and focuses on two pillars: non-profit organizations and creative initiatives, each with its own set of criteria for eligibility. Protest FUN(D) grants financial assistance when Protest supports the initiative. FUN(D) does not provide retroactive donations, and completed projects are not eligible for funding.

Who Is Eligible for Protest FUN(D)

  • Non-profit organizations: Organizations that are not government-affiliated and pursue specific social, societal, or scientific objectives. Non-profits are organizations with no profit motive.
  • Creative initiatives: Individuals or groups with innovative, challenging projects aligned with the mission of Protest Sportswear and Protest FUN(D).

Protest FUN(D) Application Checklist

This checklist will help you determine if your project or organization qualifies for Protest FUN(D) funding.

  • Objectives: The project, initiative, or organization must have well-defined objectives that align with the mission of the donating organization. It's crucial that the project aligns with the values of the donating organization.
  • Creativity: The project or initiative must demonstrate creativity in its approach. It may introduce new ideas, methods, techniques, or approaches that impact its field of operation.
  • 100% of the donation should be directed towards the project or initiative.
  • The project or initiative must commence no earlier than six weeks and no later than 6 months after the application submission.

Protest FUN(D) does not consider requests for the following reasons:

  • Projects that have already been completed at the time of evaluation.
  • Projects with a political, religious, or predominantly socio-cultural purpose.
  • Initiatives for which Protest FUN(D) would bear all expenses.
  • Projects lacking a significant funding gap (based on budget and funding plan).
  • Individual needs (such as birthday outings, gifts, clothing, sports lessons, etc.).
