Protest FUN(D) supports S-Sport to make winter sports possible for athletes with intellectual disabilities
At Protest Sportswear, we believe winter sports should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we are proud to support S-Sport as the final FUN(D) charity of 2025. For several years, S-Sport has been organizing a special G-sport ski holiday for athletes with intellectual disabilities in the beautiful Passo Tonale. This ski week is about much more than skiing. It’s about confidence, fun, inclusion, and creating memories that last a lifetime. For many participants, it is the highlight of their year.
Organizing such a holiday requires a huge effort. Rising costs in the winter sports sector make it increasingly challenging to keep this experience affordable. That’s why the support of committed partners is so important for S-Sport.
A contribution with direct impact
Nils Fransens, who has been a ski instructor for more than twenty years and a S-Sport guide for five years, sees every year the difference this week makes for the athletes. “Watching our athletes enjoy themselves on the slopes is priceless. For many, this is the moment they look forward to all year. Thanks to sponsorship, we can keep this experience accessible.”
To keep costs as low as possible for participants, S-Sport continuously invests in safety and support. This includes adapted ski equipment, helmets, high-visibility vests, extra assistance at ski lifts, and carefully selected hotels experienced with athletes with disabilities. S-Sport relies heavily on subsidies and socially engaged sponsors. Nils Fransens continues: “We are especially grateful to count on the valuable support of Protest this year. Thanks to their contribution, we could invest in new equipment, safety gear, and tailored support for our athletes.”
Winter sports for everyone
Through the Protest FUN(D), we support initiatives that align perfectly with our values. S-Sport makes sports accessible for those who might otherwise be left on the sidelines. Thanks to this contribution of five thousand euros, there can be more safety, better support, and above all, more fun on the slopes. Together, we are helping promote inclusion and equal opportunities in sport.
Together, we make winter sports possible for everyone!
